The Human Resources Department assists all departments in the attraction and retention of qualified, productive and customer-focused employees. The department recruits in accordance with equal employment opportunity principles and serves as a resource for employee relations and labor relations. In addition, this department manages a variety of employee programs such as benefits, safety programs, workers' compensation, the Employee Assistance Program, and the Employee Recognition Program. Areas of responsibility include: compensation, classification, employee records management, personnel policy administration and development, and human resources technical/professional support for all County departments

The HR office is located on the 2nd floor of the Red Lake County Courthouse.
