There are two ambulance services in Red Lake County that respond to emergency and medical calls for assistance, providing pre-hospital care and transport. The Red Lake Falls Volunteer Ambulance Association covers the western half and Oklee Emergency Squad covers the eastern side of the county. Plummer Fire Department also has EMT's and First Responders who respond to medical calls in their area.
